I began strength training in college with a very basic plan.  Over several years, I learned more and more, and decided to pursue training as a career in order to do something that I really enjoyed.

My favorite part of working with a client is seeing him/her overcome a previous limitation previously considered to be impossible – just something he/she had to live with.

Cody Wing

I wanted to get stronger and build muscle when I turned 13. I was given a weight set that I got from my neighbor and began to lift weights. I moved to Texas a few years later, trained with a few different trainers who taught me fundamentals and gave me a strong base of knowledge. I read and studied fitness and fell in love with the science behind it all! 

The best part about being a personal trainer is the smiles on your clients faces when they are seeing progress – when they realize that they can do so much more than they thought possible. I get to see their perspective change, their attitude, their physique, and most of all, I get to see them succeed!

I grew up in kingwood and I am excited to be back in the community. I got into fitness and wellness because I have always had ambitious fitness goals and was always on the lookout for the next quick weight loss fad, but could never keep the weight off. Since then, I have learned what it takes to make sustainable change in my life and experienced how much better life is when you commit to living a healthy lifestyle.

I am here to help other people make healthy sustainable change in their life by supporting, motivating, and directing them towards their fitness goals!

My journey with fitness started as a goal to lose weight. Within a few weeks, it became a passion. I started to really enjoy working out, and the results were even more than I could have imagined. My outlook on fitness changed from just wanting to lose weight, to wanting to become healthier and happier.

I wanted to share my own experience and help others start their journey as well. This is why I became a trainer. I love working with people, and one of the greatest joys is seeing a client excited and overjoyed about their new lifestyle. I see the same changes in my clients as I did with my own fitness journey. People begin to have more confidence in themselves, and they realize that they can accomplish much more than they thought before.

Lance Draper

I began playing organized soccer at 5 years old and I played competitively for 15 years. When I stopped in college, I realized how quickly my health could deteriorate without physical activity. During my 3rd year of college, I changed my major from engineering to exercise and sports science, and from there I’ve been learning about fitness and applying it to my life and now my clients’ lives.

I love the moments when clients realize they can do things they thought they couldn’t. It’s extremely rewarding helping them achieve their goals!

Steve Portersfield

My fitness journey has had its ups and downs but through fitness I have always come out on top!  In 2005 I recovered from a car accident where I broke both of my ankles and my femur, and I had to relearn how to walk again.  Since then I have always recognized the value of making sure the body is working in harmony!

I love helping clients through corrective exercise and taking the body from dysfunctional movement patterns to movement that make them stronger and feel great.  I love seeing people improve themselves and make progress from pain to power!!!
